种族主义最近成为学校的热门话题。爱达荷州的参议员候选人Robert Vasquez要来学校做演说，此人颇为极端，并经常对在美国的墨西哥移民（多为非法移民）发表歧视性言论。学校的共和党”党支部”（bsurepublicans.com）组织了这次活动，并且在校园里张贴了一份同样带有攻击性的海报，尽管他们自认为是幽默的。

几年之后，我会不会也像现在这样一个人胡思乱想，想念这段孤寂的岁月？“那会儿多好啊”。

去年学校球队的头号球星扎布兰斯基同学成为了EA Sports即将发售的新游戏NCAA FOOTBALL 08的封面人物，实在是喜讯，恭喜扎同学，到时候看情况要不要弄一套来玩玩。
